I was privileged to have been Ms. Dypiangco’s student at Bell High in the ’80′s, and I did a search on the Internet for her simply out of curiosity. It gives me great joy to see this video and see her still telling her stories with such enthusiasm. She was a terrific teacher and one who influenced my life in enormously positive ways. Please let her know how grateful I still am to have been her student and to have known her. May God bless her always!

Ray, this is Steve’s mom. Please say hello to your mom and ask her to email me at oldypiangco@gmail.com I would love to us keep in touch. Do you know I still have a picture of her at my 18th birthday party in 1957? She may not even realize it herself. Unfortunately I don’t know how to scan. I hope to have Joe or Steve help me to scan the picture and email it to your mom.

Hi Stephen, First of all congratulations on the Oscar win–I ran into your project while I was reading an article in GMANews.TV’s site. I worked with your dad Oscar while I was at SCIF and knew your brother Joseph. It was through your dad that my mom Marietta Carmona and your mom got in touch after so many years, both of them attended St. Theresa’s College-Manila back in the late 1950s. Also, thanks to your mom we were able to locate my godmother Lourdes Carillo-Rico who also was with our moms at STC, after she suddenly dropped off the radar in the mid-1990s.

How’s your dad? Please tell him that I said hello and wish we could keep in touch.

Please let me know if I can be of any help to get your documentary launched (hopefully it will also get an Academy Award!).
