Home Unknown began as a small movie I was making just for my family and hopefully film festival audiences. With the help of some generous relatives, I purchased a video camera and shot all of the footage I’d need in Los Angeles and in the Philippines. But as I’ve met more Filipinos and discovered that others share experiences very similar to mine, the goals for the project have increased dramatically. Instead of just my family, I now hope as many Filipinos as possible around the world see this movie and enjoy it.

As I work on editing the movie and trying to connect it with audiences before its even done, the associated costs begin to pile up. That’s why I’d like to ask for your support. Every donation you make, no matter how small, will go towards finishing the film, promoting it within Filipino communities and distributing it around the world.
